With EU support, Datakom successfully implements the Flex.bi business analytics platform

Datakom has successfully implemented the Flex.bi business analytics platform with EU support, enabling real-time access to key business data. Through the “Test Before Invest” initiative, the company improved data transparency and decision-making, supporting continued growth, efficiency, and competitiveness.

To ensure more effective company management and decision-making, Datakom, in cooperation with the Latvian IT Cluster and the European Digital Innovation Centre (EDIC), has successfully implemented a digitalisation initiative within the “Test Before Invest” framework.

As Datakom has grown rapidly in recent years, the volume of data to be processed has also increased. Existing manual processes were no longer able to provide the required speed and transparency, which are critical for the company’s group managers to quickly analyse results and make data-driven decisions.

By leveraging an opportunity offered by European Union funds, we tested Flex.bi, a business data analytics platform developed in Latvia. The goal of the project was to assess whether this cloud-based service could deliver real-time data and improve the company’s overall efficiency.

Results:

The test was completed successfully. The Flex.bi platform proved its effectiveness by providing our management team with immediate access to key business indicators. We have decided to retain the system and continue adapting it to Datakom’s specific needs, thereby strengthening our competitiveness and internal processes.
